A lifelong fascination with the U.S. financial markets coupled with a strong entrepreneurial spirit have taken Jim Casey from college graduate to president of Integrated Wealth Management (IWM), one of the country’s fastest growing and most highly regarded wealth management and investment counseling organizations.

In 1986, graduating from State University of New York at Binghamton with dual major in psychology and business, Jim entered the Wall Street based Integrated Resources Equity Corporation (IREC) training program. By early the following year, he had been promoted to Senior Investment Analyst and transferred to IREC’s Los Angeles based subsidiary Integrated Financial.

In 1989 he was recruited by American Medical Association, to act as Regional Vice President for the western United States division of their wholly-owned subsidiary, AMA Investment Advisers.

Upon learning the AMA planned to diversify their holdings, Jim made an offer to purchase the western region, which was accepted in 1995. From this foundation, he created Physicians’ Asset Management, Inc (PAMI) to handle the financial needs of high-net worth medical professionals, medical groups and medically related foundations throughout the western United States.

In 2001, Jim was hired by The Screen Actors Guild Foundation to manage the organization’s financial growth and planned giving program. He established a new division, Integrated Wealth Management (IWM), to meet their needs as well as those of other entertainment professionals and foundations, including The Motion Picture Players Welfare Fund, the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists (AFTRA) Foundation, the Actors’ Fund, Associated Actors and Artistes of America and non-medically high-net worth clients.

The growth of IWM has been stellar, with a major increase in assets under management since inception as well as annual revenue growth every year since its inception. ‘Medical Economics’ magazine has consistently included Jim on its list of “The Best 150 Financial Advisors for Doctors”. In addition Jim has earned a coveted spot on the “Bloomberg Wealth Manager Annual” ranking of America’s Top Wealth managers.

Jim has a firm belief in sharing success with others, and helping the communities in which he works and lives to become flourishing ones. He is also an executive committee member and/or is a board member of The Deane F. Johnson Alzheimer’s Research Center at UCLA, the Palm Springs International Film Festival and Desert
AIDS Project.
